Managing compliance from start to finish

Whether a shipment is bound for Brussels, Paris, or New York, every international order must meet specific export regulations. Tuning manages those requirements in-house, from documentation and inspection to final approval. Our team prepares all paperwork, coordinates directly with customs officials, and ensures each shipment is cleared before leaving Aalsmeer.

Daily inspections and certification

For shipments outside the European Union, including those to the United States, the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) and Dutch Customs inspect the products at the airport before export. Inspectors verify the export lists, confirm that the flowers are approved for shipment, and check that all documents match the goods being sent. Only after approval can a shipment be sealed and released for transport.

This inspection process ensures that every export meets the required plant health and safety standards. Each approved shipment receives an official certificate confirming that it is free from pests or disease. Within Europe, the process is simpler, but documentation and traceability remain just as precise.

Certified air freight handling

Tuning operates as a certified air freight sender under European and international aviation security standards. Only trained and certified employees are allowed in the shipping areas, and visitors must sign in before entry. Our logistics team completes annual cargo security training focused on handling, awareness, and compliance.

This certification allows shipments to move directly from our warehouse to the aircraft without additional screening, which saves time and keeps the supply chain tightly controlled.

Accuracy through digital documentation

All export documents, including invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and inspection certificates, are created and stored digitally. This keeps every order accurate, traceable, and compliant from start to finish.

For Tuning, customs and documentation are not just formal steps but part of how we guarantee reliability. Whether the destination is within Europe or across the world, every shipment leaves our facility fully certified, secure, and ready to arrive on time.
